At CannMed 26, Dr. Peterson will be presenting findings from his first study as a lead author—the largest survey of Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS) patients ever conducted. This work aimed to better understand who develops this rare but increasingly recognized condition, what symptoms patients experience, how they consume cannabis, where they source their products, and broader patterns that may contribute to CHS risk. The study represents a meaningful step toward bringing clarity, data, and clinical context to a condition that has long been under-recognized and misunderstood.
