Dry herb vapes are a smoke-free way for flower lovers to enjoy the taste and aroma of cannabis, without lighting up or inhaling carcinogens. And when it comes to vapes, PAX stands a cut above the rest.
Perfect for the flower lover on the go, the PAX Mini is the powerful dry herb vape you know and love, compressed into pocket-sized perfection. The Mini is PAX’s smallest device yet that lasts up to two hours on a single charge and easily fits into small pockets and bags.

Main features
The PAX Mini is easy to use, portable, sleek, and silky smooth. The vape is made for flower lovers, with a 0.25-gram oven size, and a shallow design that makes it easy to keep clean. The design of the device is extremely intuitive, controlled with a single button so there’s no guesswork. It heats up quickly, produces smooth and flavorful vapor, and lasts for 8 to 10 smoking sessions.
The small size of the Mini means it could easily overheat, but PAX has a solution – only one temperature option. When heated and ready, the device feels warm but not hot to the touch. Unlike the burning smell of a combustion method, the heating of cannabis flower gives off a toasty aroma. The pull is smooth and mindful. PAX advises you to sip it, not rip it. Enjoy it like you would a fine glass of wine; one swirl and sip at a time.

Features on the Mini include:
- 22-second heat time
- 2+ hours battery life on single charge
- 0.25-gram bowl
- Smooth vaping experience
- One temperature option
- Sleek design
- Secure magnet on bowl lid
- Single button controls the device
- Aroma of toasted cannabis – not smoky or burnt
Is it worth the price?
With a price tag of $150, the Mini is a mid-tier priced vape. All quality dry herb vapes require a three-figure investment, and you want a device that is reliable, safe and delivers a consistent experience. The Mini does just that. It also comes with a two-year warranty so if anything does go wrong, you’re covered.
PAX is known for its high-quality, long-lasting vapes. They’re a stoner-trusted brand that understands it’s not just about getting high – it’s about a yet full sensory experience that allows you to enjoy the plant using all five senses.
Pros of the PAX Mini
The main benefit of the Mini is its portability and ease of use. The small size makes it perfect to take on every adventure, and the quick heating time means you’re never left standing around waiting to hit the vape. Consider it the iPhone Mini of vapes: technology that enhances your life without taking up too much time or space.
The single-button control and automatic temperature options also make the Mini appealing to new vape users. There’s no fussing through multiple settings or accidentally turning the temperature up when you meant to turn the device off – just turn it on and hit it.

Cons of the PAX Mini
It’s not odorless. When the device heats up, the aroma is potent yet soothing: it stimulates your senses and brings all of the aromatic compounds in cannabis front and center. There are no additives (unless you add some), so it’s just pure cannabis flower roasting in its own mini oven. For lovers of the plant in its natural form, this aroma is a welcome departure from the stink of smoke – but it makes it less discreet.
The small size of the oven can also make it challenging to pack. Keeping a small packing tool on hand will make your life easier since this device doesn’t come with one.
Competitor comparison
There’s plenty of competition in the portable vaporizer market, so how does the PAX Mini stack up against the rest?

How to use/care for the PAX Mini
The PAX’s sleek design hides a simple user interface. The power button is located in the mouthpiece, and you can turn the device on and off with a simple click. The small oven size means this device only has one temperature setting so there’s no need to adjust.
All the pieces come together magnetically with a single button operation. The X light indicates heating up (purple/pink), ready (green), and charging (white).
The Mini comes with two mouthpieces, an oven lid, 3D oven screens, a wire brush to clean the oven, and a charging cable.
How to clean your Mini
- Remove the mouthpiece and the oven lid from the device.
- Dip the wire brush into isopropyl alcohol so it’s damp, but not dripping wet. Use the brush to pop out the oven screen and gently swab the screen and vapor path to remove any built-up resin.
- Use a q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol (not the wire brush) to clean the inside of the oven and the top of the device. You can soak the mouthpiece and oven screen in isopropyl or swab them with a q-tip as well.
- Allow all pieces to dry completely before reassembling your Mini. After assembly, turn the device on and allow it to heat up and cool down completely before your next session.

Final verdict
The PAX Mini is a winner. The simplicity of its assembly and use provides you with flexibility, customization, and control of each session. The design is sleek and modern, and every device comes backed by PAX’s two-year warranty. If you’re looking to upgrade your dry herb vape or step away from smoking, the Mini is a great place to start.
