Acreage Holdings is a cannabis cultivation and retail company that operates in 15 states and also owns and operates the retail store brand, The Botanist. The company has 71 dispensary licenses, two dozen cultivation and processing licenses and seven brands launched and in development.
In addition to The Botanist, Acreage Holdings’ portfolio includes the brands Prime, Live Resin Project, and Tweed, as well as Universal Hemp, LLC. In 2019, Tweed was licensed to Acreage Holdings, which grows its products in the company’s 30,000 square foot facility in Medford, Oregon.
In April 2019, Acreage Holdings and Canopy announced an agreement under which Canopy would acquire 100% of Acreage Holdings if and when cannabis is federally legalized in the United States.
