Founded in 2016, the Cannabis Marketing Association has nine chapters across the United States.
The company was established in order to bring the cannabis marketing community together, to help them navigate the unique challenges and unclear regulations and perception programs that affect the cannabis industry.
The association’s mission statement is “to bring a positive perception to, and authentic understanding of, cannabis and its consumers around the world. CMA does this by supporting the professional growth of cannabis communications professionals by providing industry education, cultivating community, and establishing best practices.”
The organization charges monthly and yearly membership fees. By signing up, members can access a network of data and content relating to cannabis marketing, as well as access to events and extensive networking possibilities.
