While a growing number of veterans are using cannabis to help treat PTSD, pain, and a variety of other health conditions, they still face stigma, as well as possible consequences and loss of benefits from the Veterans Affairs Administration.
Veterans Ending the Stigmas is a group founded by disabled veterans to educate about the problems returning veterans face, and how cannabis can help.
As the group states “at Veterans Ending The Stigma, our objective is stigma destruction. Our preferred outcome sought is the normalization of medicinal cannabis use, standardized education of all things cannabis, and concomitant training to accompany said utilization and education within contemporary, civilized society.”
