National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws

About

The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws was a trailblazer in the cause of marijuana legalization in the US decades before medical or recreational legalization were on the horizon.

NORML lobbies lawmakers on the state and national level in the United States and supports voter initiatives devoted to legalization across the country. NORML also serves as a source of information about legalization and marijuana laws and penalties on a state by state basis across the United States.

The NORML Foundation, a sister organization of NORML, runs public information campaigns about marijuana and marijuana policy, as well as legal assistance to people who have been damaged by marijuana prohibition laws.

NORML also provides comprehensive information about pending legislation in states across the country, during each legislative session, by way of its action center.
