Patients Out of Time (POT) is a non-profit devoted to educating health care professionals, legal professionals, and the wider public about medical cannabis, and to strengthening the status of cannabis as a legitimate form of medicine.
POT was founded in 1995 by Mary Lynn Mathre, the past president and founding member of the American Cannabis Nurses Association.
The organization has also hosted a number of conferences on medical cannabis.
