What is it about?
So, you want to make your own edibles at home – but where do you start?
Before you start cooking with cannabis it’s important to know what you’re doing in order to achieve results that are tasty, satisfying and safe.
But it’s not necessarily simple. Flower must be decarboxylated before cooking with it. And then there’s portion size – too little herb in your end result will be disappointing, too much could be quite uncomfortable.
Once you’ve cracked the technical aspects, it’s also important to make sure your edibles taste good.
During this unique live cooking demonstration, James Beard-nominated Chef Jordan Wagman will go through the basics of cooking with cannabis while cannabis pharmacist Dr. Codi Peterson will be explaining the science at the same time.
While showing you all you need to know to get started, they will be answering questions such as:
– What’s the optimal THC:CBD ratio when cooking with cannabis?
– How do I cook using weed with unknown cannabinoid content?
– What happens if I don’t decarboxylate?
